IRISH LEAGUE: Crusaders to honour record-breaker Jordan Owens before Glentoran game

Owens became the club’s all-time leading scorer with last week’s goal against Rathfriland Rangers in the Tennent’s Irish Cup.
It saw the 26-year-old progress to 158 goals with Crusaders, eclipsing Glenn Hunter’s record.

Hide AdHunter will be in attendance on Saturday to present Owens with a special piece of commemorative crystal to honour his achievements.
“He has been an incredible servant for us and he will go on to score a lot more goals for Crusaders,” said manager Stephen Baxter.
“He will break this record by some distance.”
